Queen's Birthday Honour

Congratulations to Dr Louis McGuigan who has been awarded a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) in the Queen's Birthday 2022 Honours List for significant service to rheumatology, and to community health.

Dr McGuigan is a father of four Vinnies girls and served with distinction as the Chair of our Foundation from 1996 to 2001. During this era the Foundation raised over $3million for the benefit of the College and its students.

His community mindedness, leadership and Generosity of Spirit were clearly evident to all at St Vincent's College and underpinned this philanthropic success.

We are grateful for his extraordinary contribution to our College and his broader service in community health, recognised by this Award.
