Graduation Ceremonies Class of 2018

For our Year 12 students, we know just how important these final weeks are before their final HSC exams.  There are still many gains to be made by consolidating and enriching their knowledge and skills in each course.  We continue to hold these young women in our prayers.

On Tuesday afternoon we celebrated an uplifting Eucharist to pray for and bless each of our graduands.  The celebrant, Fr Chris Gleeson sj, spoke powerfully to each young woman of the need to care for her heart – not only in the cardiac sense but in the sense of the heart being the repository of emotions and where we experience the joys of life.  We then followed the Eucharist with a prize giving of academic, service and leadership prizes.

We congratulate each of the prizewinners on their wonderful achievements and their service to the College. Each has worked exceptionally hard.

After the formality of Tuesday, the students celebrated in an entirely different manner at their Year 12 Formal.  They looked beautiful and danced the night and school days away!  All those “Ravs in the Pav” had prepared them well for a night of high heels and high spirits.
