IGSA HOCKEY

Last weekend’s game against Loreto Normanhurst was a competitive but close game, ending in a 2-0 win for SVC! Our girls came out strong, putting lots of tackles on and keeping possession a lot. Our passing and teamwork has definitely kept improving, as well as the girls’ communication on the field together. Fantastic to see the girls get so close multiple times in attack to scoring some great team goals. Hopefully we can continue to build on our teamwork and passing for the upcoming games.

It was another tough match for SVC1 over the weekend ending in a loss, but the team put up a great fight. The team performed well, maintaining a high level of intensity throughout the entire game, working hard in both defense and attack. Unfortunately for SVC, Santa Sabina was just a bit more efficient in front of goal, leading to a final score of 0-3. Keep up the good work girls, those goals will come.

IGSA ATHLETICS CARNIVAL

The bus will leave at 3.15pm  from Victoria St and this session will run from 4.00pm - 5.00pm. Students may be collected from the field at 5.00pm.

SPORTS STARS OF THE WEEK  This section is to make the College community aware of some of the exceptional athletes we have in the College.  If your daughter has represented her state or country recently in her chosen Sport, please send us any results, photos or blurbs on her performance to jacobsj@stvincents.nsw.edu.au

Congratulations to all of the Year 12 students who continued to fulfil their sporting commitments during the Trial HSC exams. Only a few more weeks to go of your sporting life at the College, please keep going to both your training sessions and your matches.
